Richard Whiting is executive vice-president, sales, marketing and trading, Peabody Energy, St. Louis, Missouri, since October 2002. He had been president and chief operation officer and a director and management committee member since June 1998.
Whiting is also a member of the National Coal Council; Presidential Advisory Board of the Society of Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration; and the Visiting Committee of College of Engineering and Mineral Resources, WVU.
